And yes, it feels good. I just wrapped my first full length Indie that should make it to most indie film houses! Who's up for grabbing beers and heading to The Angelika Film Center when it comes to NYC??
If anyone's curious, it's a film based on a true story of 2 runaway slaves in Virginia in 1848. They encounter trial after trial as they try desperately to find their way North into Quaker-dominated Pennsylvania. Through the help of the underground railroad engineers they hope to find a rumored "free community" where they can live and work freely in peace.
Unfortunately, yours truly is a slave hunter that stays hot on their trail for most of the film...
