Jaquelin,
I have to be really careful about what I say online because eventually some dork is going to charge me with violating security in the Navy and all this is going to be reviewed. One of the problems with the military is that it is also a huge bureaucracy, and many of the small minded people necessary to push all the paper are deeply insecure individuals. Some of those deeply insecure individuals get irritated with me because I place a premium on accomplishing the unit's and the Navy's mission instead of other considerations...like letting them get more smoke breaks.
So eventually, it will become known to the twit patrol that I have an online presence here and they will use that to try to get me in trouble. I have seen this happen already in the last six months, and I expect to see it again.
You may be asking why I continue to serve in the Navy Reserve, and I sometimes ask that myself because I can at this point leave at any time. I continue to serve because my unit has some great people who I can help accomplish the mission, the mission of the unit is a vital one that needs to be accomplished, and if I leave the people who prioritize trivia over mission will be in control of the agenda.
I continue to post here because I am proud of what this community attempts to accomplish, this community needs commentary that is not in political lockstep with the agenda any organization, and because my posting irritates so many deeply stupid and insufferable jerks who happen to have memberships here.
Also, there are a lot of hot chicks and I am a male heterosexual with working eyes. I just don't view this site from Navy computers.
