I have another date tonight, again, over and over.


In Montreal, the cool cute lesbians hang out at straight club and the ugly old ones go out in the village.
But I just LOVE the village so much, I can't get enough of it. I have many drag queen friends so I'm always screaming in support, there is a cake restaurent and the music is just perfect; they play AQUA right after Kiley Minogue and Britney Spears, what more can you ask?

I've been going out in the village since I was 14 so we have a long history of me beeing naked at 3 in the morning cauz my girlfriends ran with my clothes.

I really tried the straight bars and I just can't. It's so ridiculous. The guys try hard to be guys, they are all gross and they give you the stupid line hoping to sleep with you, knowing it'll never happen but they'll try anyway (you have to give them props for it). Strangly, they are not the worst. The guys, I can handle, it's in their nature to be like that, to chase or something. But the girls are just awful. They are such hypocrites because really, they do want to sleep with the guys. I swear, they do! It's just that they are too scared to "look like sluts" or to be called that awful thing by the girl just next to her who, by the way, was too, sincerely hoping to sleep with the same guy! It's just horrible.

So I stick to the village where the guys seriously don't give a fuck if I make a fool of myself and where I can dance all night to AQUA and therefore never get to meet the cute girls.

Actually, my thing wasn't working either becase I kept on beeing single.

So a few month ago, my friends told me to try the dating site, and I did.
It's actually kind of cool because everyone on it is really vulnerable considering they (me included) failed in the "real world mating ritual". Now everyday there is at least 3 girls that write me messages based on my photo and my 3 words description.

I got an automated message, last week, from the dating agency that said something like " Dear Patrice, you now have 32 unanswered messages. We know you have sent a few winks to people, but you should really start to answer these ladies". I was really like : Screw that! Why would I answer those girls who probably messaged me only because I'm not totally discusting on my picture and who most of the time are twice my age and play hockey (I hate sports very much).

Still, I have selected the very few girls who I thought were interesting and gave them my email adress talked with them a bit, just enough to know that I wouldn't want to punch them in real life, and set up dates.

Until now, all the girls I met were really disapointing. I guess people have guts on the internet because they don't actually have to face people and their reaction. On the internet, you can zap people without really affecting their feelings. In real life, it's different. And must I had :
WHATS UP WITH THE PICTURE THAT ISNT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE ON YOUR BEST DAY!!!
If you post a picture on a dating site it is because you intend to meet someone. How can you start a realsionship if the first thing you tell (show) someone is a lie? I mean, you can use your best profile but god, don't photoshop it so you look like Angelina. Of course your date is going to be disapointed.

I have a date with a "Tara" tonight. There was a gay Tara on Buffy and I was totally looking up to her, so, in my mind, they're gonna be alike. I guess i'm probably going to be wrong... But still, I'm hoping for the best meaning; she's going to have conversation, we will hopefully laugh, she will have opinions and not totally be repulsive!
