im f'n drained, but the lust at the begining of a relationship is wonderful.

gonna go out tonite, get some wings and beer, then watch fight club.

Ah, yes... There's nothing like those first few months of a relationship. I'm very jealous, as I'm three and a half years deep into this one... Don't get me wrong, she's an awesome girl, but...

Actually this month marks my tenth year in L.A. Moved out for school and haven't looked back. It is indeed an eye candy heaven, but then there's the aforementioned girlfriend, so I've been wearing blinders for a while.

The Dune miniseries were very faithful to the books, but I still think the Lynch movie better captured the story's essence. While there were liberties taken, the tone, mood and look were, I think, spot on. It's worth a gander if you've never seen it.
