Today, a hodge-podge.
Beyond the ridge on the left, you asked me what I want,
between the trees and the chirping by the shading pond.
I spent and hour with you, should I want anything else?
Reading: Cavedweller (Dorothy Allison)
Listening: "Sixteen, Maybe Less" (Calexico/Iron & Wine)
Writing: article on Primary Colours, a local arts promo group
Eating: chocolate Rice Dream
Smelling: the last of the blossoms
Feeling: tense shoulders and a little cold, probably the Rice Dream
Wishing: to be in the calm, mystical desert
And you?
(zoos make me sad, but this bear was happy for a second)

I'm being super careful about who I'm going to meet. It took me a number of months to actually meet Jeff. I intend to take things really slowly with anyone I find interesting. I won't even give my email address out until we've covered ground in the eHarmony open communication thing. Of course, that's always assuming things even progress with people. They are thus far, though. I've got four or five active matches at the moment, two of whom opened communication with me. Makes me feel all fuzzy inside.
Getting my hair done is the only nice thing I ever do for myself. I always make sure that, in addition to my bills, I have money to do that. Of course, this month my mom footed the bill. I don't really know why...
Twin Peaks is awesome. So was Requiem for a Dream. I don't have the soundtrack, but I've always heard wonderful things about it. I'll probably pick it up sometime in the nearish future to see what all the rage is about.
Well, this was a long comment. I'll close with your questions again.
Reading: The same thing as last time
Listening: Assorted Front 242 songs
Writing: A new story! It's only in its really early stages, though. And I'm editing a really old story.
Eating: Blackberry Harvest Yoplait.
Smelling: My yogurt
Feeling: Hopeful at all the job prospects who now have my resume and/or application
Wishing: That I'll be able to go to Lollapalooza again this year
