It is expected that the media is celebrating the life of President Bush, a life dedicated to public service. It is also interesting and ironic, considering that the media did to help push Clinton over the top. At the time, I was living in Annapolis, and I had a little party for some Midshipmen from the Academy. Not a single one of the Mids thought Clinton would win. People would go to the voting booths, intending to vote for Clinton, but would vote for Bush. When the election was called for Clinton, the future Navy men were disbelieving, then incensed. How would a draft dodger defeat a war hero?
He was also a viscous sexual predator, but the media never reported that. It was hardly a secret. Hillary called these women "Bimbos."
Of course, the vast majority of the media is liberal, they root for the Democrats. They would then claim that their own personal opinions never affected their reports, they were always impartial when writing the news. Beyond their personal opinions, a Democrat will more likely to be more activist, so more for them to report on.
We saw the same thing when Senator McCain died. That was disgusting, Celebrate his life, another life dedicated to public service, another war hero. When he ran for president, the media did not every to appear impartial, they were all in for Obama. People who asked him questions he was not ready for would be investigated and harassed.
The media, incredibly, wonders why they have no credibility.
