Back in the Day, there would be a little balloon on my posts and into page.
The term for an irrational fear of clowns is"Coulrophobia." I do not have this, perhaps because my parents never took me to a circus. Though, after elementary school in a suburb of Seattle, I always watched a show hosted by a clown who did funny things and gave kids huge amounts of Tootsi Rolls.
Coulropjobia seems to be rather new. Possibly due to the killer clowns in movies, and all the clowns that jump out of you at the haunted houses we all go to around Hallowe'en.
These is a new turn in this, especially in Chicago's Rosewood Cemetery, There, a couple, driving by, got a phone video of a guy dresses as a clown climbing over the fence on the gate dressed as a clown. Staying, the couple then filmed the clown waving at them, slowly. Then, he ran away. Goggle it if you do not beleive me.
There have been other sightings of clowns at cemeteries. These have at daylight, however, and it seems to be a custom for clowns to visit their relatives or friends in costume. So there does not seem any malice here. At Chicago, however, things suggest a dickhead clown. I suppose he could be a good guy, trying to dissuade people from getting buy on top of the dead. Or, he may just get his kicks from scaring the hell out of people.
So, if you are reading this, creepy clown (not the good clowns who are funny and entertain us), I suggest that you desist. You have been found out. Security and police will be looking for you. Moreover, people with Colourphobia may be out there, looking to deal with their phobia with a nine millimeter.
