i have learned to play 2 songs on betsey, which is what i chose to name my guitar. i can play a sabbath song and a modest mouse song. i like it a lot, and i just have fun fucking around. eric and i are thinking about having a band called the pink weapons, because we both play pink instruments, and pink weapon is what our roommate nate refers to them as. so that is a good use of time, plus i am putting the finishing touches on a print ive been working on for a couple months, which is probably nothing near as impressive as that time span would make one think it should be. not much else to say today, work is coming soon and that is very bad. ever since they gave us that mandatory vacation, i just cant get back into the swing of the old 2-9. i think i need a cup of coffee. oh and i got passed up for a raise. oh well. at least today i have an instant oatmeal packet to look forward to. oh yeah, i bought the new cat power album and i dont like it that much. it put me into a mode where i cant stop listening to old cat power though. im happy shes happy, but it just seems wrong. this week ive been listening to a lot of cat power, nina nastasia, blonde redhead...girly music. i feel girly. i got a haircut. i put on lipgloss. i thought it was funny that when asked what i could not live without, erics answer was "lipgloss and records". who knew? i think i would probably choose nutella over lipgloss.
