I've been quite ill since Friday. All full of flu. It's weird. I've never had it before so I feel a bit helpless and unsure of what to do with myself.
I stayed in on Saturday but was excited enough on Sunday to go and start wrestling training again. My body really wasn't ready for it.
I've got a weird thing when it comes to exercise. Most people when they're unfit just fall off the pace and can't keep up, I keep pace with people who do things week in week out, but then when it's over I just die of exhaustion. This morning (two days later) I'm having trouble moving my arms. They're in so much pain just from all the push ups and bumping. Any kind of movement is a chore. From standing up to walking to just getting dressed, it all just kills! I've had Delayed Onset Muscle Fatigue before but this is a lot worse than I've ever experienced.
I've been awake for most of the night in cold sweats thanks to having a fever, and the sore muscles make you have to be really motivated if you want to roll over or try and get more comfortable. I've got a chesty cough too, but my ribs are so sore that coughing doesn't do anything. GRRR.
This morning, at about 9am I could hear a child crying next door. It was so irritating, I just wanted to go round there and twat the fucker. But then I realized that the crying was at the same pitch and was going on for a really long time. It twigged with me that it was probably a cat. I got up and saw this out of my window:
Two cats talking.
Youtube "Talking cats" and you'll see what I mean.
