ok, i've had as much as i can stand and i can't stand no more...
after months of frustration, anger, swearing and heartache, i've taken the TiBook back the store.
this afternoon i'll be going to pick up my Windows 2000 powered IBM Thinkpad. it may not be in a sexy titanium case, it may not have a sexy 'lickable' interface, but it will work, and that's all i'm interested in.
i wanted a TiBook because when combined with Mac OS X they were supposed to be the most stable, most wondrous computing experiences on the planet. all i got was a fucking big bill and a shit user experience.
thanks, mr jobs, but no thanks. you can stick your vision of Apple's future up your arse. i'm going to follow your advice and switch alright, but in the opposite direction right back to Windows. you had your chance and you fucking blew it.

i just picked up my new Thinkpad and the fool who tested it obviously knows *nothing* about Intel SpeedStep™ technology...
the PIII 700 I just bought for next to nothing is actually a PIII 1.13Ghz
woo!
