the time has come for me to finally accept that i'm never getting dreadlocks...

i've been meaning to get them put in since i was fifteen, so given that i'm rapidly approaching thirty i think i can safely assume i'm *never* going to have the patience to grow my hair long enough to begin the process and get them done properly.

to that end, i've just returned from the barber shop near my office with a newly fuzzy head and and itchy neck.

i'm celebrating with a bowl of spicy corn chowder soup and fresh bread for lunch.
