I cried today for the people of New Orleans because I was heart broken. I really did not follow the story because there was no television set at the residency so it was not until the airport yesterday that I understood the extent of the damage. I will help in my own little way I will make art. I know that sounds corny but my friend and fellow artist collective member, no funner, is organizing an art auction to raise money and I will make some pieces to donate. I feel so helpless.
