I think one person has read one of my blogs. Haha. It doesn't matter to me. This is something to do while my computer processes pictures off my phone and camera as well as encoding videos.
I got a job at Buffalo Studios at the end of April. It's just what I need to get my life back on track. Best paying job I've had in my 12 years of working. It still isn't the greatest of jobs monetary wise, but it's something that will allow me to once again make it on my own, feed myself, and afford extras in life.
That being said, I just finished a long day of work after coming back from the San Diego Comic-Con. Spending four (4) days walking around, plus preview night, is unbelievably tiring. As usual, I enjoyed finding the Suicide Girls booth and seeing them dressed up in different outfits each day. It makes it fun for them (Im assuming) and fun for the attendees who visit their booth. It also brings them back each day to purchase stuff. Clever girls. While all of them are lovely, by far Lolana was simply stunning. She was dressed as the Green Hornet on Saturday which is kick-ass. Also, Chad is amazingly hilarious photo bombing every shot she could. The faces she made are priceless and I wish I had a picture of just one.
Here is the lovely Lolana:
Here I am with Lolana, Mel, Dimples, and Damsel:
I purchased the new book Hard Girls, Soft Light and got just about all of them to sign it. I left Beauty Refined at home unfortunately so I couldnt add more signatures to that one. I still wish a third magazine would come out. Even if it were once a year, that would be great. The two which were made are very good.
Some of the other things I purchased at Comic-Con were Dragon Ball Z scouters from Bluefin (not the tuna), Mega Man 25th Anniversary statue from CAPCOM, plushie Zergling/Baneling from Blizzard, and a few Judge Dredd Case Files from 2000 A.D. Thanks to my new job, I was easily able to get all of the things I wanted for me and I was able to do birthday/Christmas shopping too. Win.
