Good job. I've seen similar pattern used as the Steel for Flint & Steel fire starting. Primitive firearms shooters like it as a Patch Knife ( to trim the cloth patch that holds the musket ball snug in the gun barrel ). ** Have you caught the program "Forged in Fire" ? Amateur to semiprofessional Blade Smiths have a timed competition to produce a usable Blade. Might give you inspiration. Keep on forging.
