So this week, I'm going to my ex-fiancee's grave for the first time.

I was too torn up back then to go to the funeral, and never stopped by to pay my respects. I didn't even know where she was buried. It's been thirteen years since she died, and I could never bring myself to look. But since I've been staying in Somerset, I've been thinking about her since she's from Thornville, the next town over.

I talked her parents and told them why I never came, and that I wanted to go. We talked a bit about her, and I could feel my self-control cracking. I'm going to be a wreck when I go.
