I need to go running again. Back in San Antonio I used to run 6 miles every other day. Not only did it help me lose weight but it was also extremely therapeutic. I live only 1 mile from the Cape Fear River trail and the trail actually comes very close to my house (although my house is on the other side of the river so I would have to walk a mile to get to the entrance).
I feel that I haven't done much since I have moved back to Fayetteville about six months ago. I am trying to get back into doing things I used to love to avoid sinking into complete depression. I honestly feel like I've put my brain and body on "auto-pilot" for the past 6 months. I just started reading again. I picked up an Irvine Welsh novel that I've had for a while. I've also decided to start cooking at least one meal a day. Pretty soon I would like to start brewing my own beer. I need to get a car soon so I can travel again. Even if it's just within the state, I'm dying to visit a new place and try something new.
Looking forward to the summer when I can see my son again

Running, walking, or jogging is great therapy. And you and your son will have tons of fun during the summer months!!!
