It's Ramadan (or Ramazan, here in Pakistan) right now... as it is in all Islamic countries and for all Muslims. It marks about a month-long period of fasting. From sun-up to sun-down Muslims do not eat, drink or have any impure thoughts. The last, in my personal opinion, being the hardest. But damn if that cheeseburger doesn't smell good. Luckily for me, I am an apostate and bacon is my friend. The breaking of fast occurs every day at a different time depending on when the sun has set... all of this is according to an Islamic calendar and holy men. The word "Iftar" is Arabic and literally means to break fast. Now, having said all of this for your edification, I proudly present to you reason number 3,740 of why Pakistan cracks me up (this one may take the top award, ever):
P.S. One dollar is worth roughly 77 Rupees Pakistani (yes, that is how they say it here). That is some seriously cheap, ahem, head.
