Went to two short retirement ceromonies this past week. Gave me a chance to see so coworkers/friends that I have not seen in some time. Times have changed I remember when I first joined this organization twenty years ago that in addition to the plaques and luncheon the co workers usually got together a bought a present for the retiree but now it seems like nobody wants to contribute. I am getting asked a lot now when I am going to retire and when I say I don't know, I get some strange remarks or looks like a am blowing smoke. At this point I do not know, when the time comes I will know and it will be quick. Work assignment changes, a supervisor I don't like or health reasons.
