Life is funny, the way it slips up on you when you aren't paying attention. One moment you are doing fine, nice balance of work and play, time for family and friends, hobbies and relaxation, even find time for sex...then one day you look around and suddenly relize that you are working more than ever, it's been a couple years since you took more than 3 days off in a row, you can't remember when the last time you went out with friends, family life has become a series of hurried mornings and late dinners followed by forgetable tv and then maybe some more work after the kids are in bed and then sleep. alone. When was the last time you had sex? who knows.
I look back, trying to figure out how all this happend to me. was it one fateful decision or a long series of events that I didn't realize the import of at the time. Slippery slope theory....Whatever, it doesn't much matter how it got to this point. the real question is "what the fuck am I going to do now to get my life back?" It's been so long since I've been social I realize that I never did get most of my 'friends' phone numbers into my new phone last year and I haven't talked with them or hung out with them in forever. So, if you are one of the people who hasn't talked with me in forever and you want to, give me a jingle or drop me a line here and maybe you can be part of my recovery.
As for the rest, I'm taking the day off and I'm going to see if if I can restart my sex life. let me know if you wan to help me out with that too. You never kow, I might just be interested.
