Yeah, so Happy fuckin New Year to all! This is a bitchin journal entry - no, not bitchin cool, just me bitchin.
So, you know how there are some things that one is just not supposed to do? Especially to someone who is considered one of their best friends? Ok, here is the story. I have a sister. One who I am overprotective of. Well, not like super overprotective, I just have a policy where MY friends are not allowed to hook up with her. It is a very clear policy and one that even people who do not know me very well know about.
So it is New Year's Eve and I passed on some bar invites because I did not want to leave my sister at home alone (she is 19 and ID-less). So me and my sister meet up with a good friend of mine from college and his girlfriend. We went to dinner and then back to his place to celebrate the new year with some beverages. To cut a long story short, the stroke of midnight found me and the girlfriend inside together while my sister and my "buddy" smoked on the patio. I get up to see what is taking them so long, look through the blinds, and there he is kissing her. Kissing MY sister (which he knows is a no-no), with HIS girlfriend in the next room. As I am looking, they stop, start to come inside and see me looking at them. They enter, and he has the audacity to lie to me and tell me it was a hug. His fuckin bitch ass was lucky I did not
right there. Instead, I took my sister and we left, because I knew his girlfriend would take care of that for me.
But the point of all this is the following: My sister - she got bitched at, not because I don't want her hooking up. She can do whatever she wants. But because she was shameless in kissing some dude while his girlfriend was in the other room. And my "buddy" - he broke the cardinal, unspoken rule (which I had definately made spoken), lied to me to my face about it after I had seen it, and to make matters worse has not even tried to call and apologize.
I was so fuckin mad in the car on the drive home I was shaking.
So this is how my first ten minutes of 2004 went. Fun, huh?
