so another week without electricity has passed. i've been eating good food, however, and defecation has been slightly easier than usual.
ran sound at cactus last night for the first time. taxi from italy came and rocked the hizzo. i put the mics in front of the right spots and tweaked the knobs just right and they sounded bad-ass. a home run in my first at-bat.
they only spoke moderate english, but they gave me an album and a 7" and said, "we-a sound-a really a-good-a tonight, a-best on-a tour!" and we pounded shots of jamison until it was time to close. now that i work at cactus, i can stay and drink after hours while the bar gets cleaned. that is so awesome.
no word from the insurance company yet.
also; thanks to the t2 regulars that descended on my workplace last thursday to show support. i know i was scarce and sober, and nobody knows more that i do that i'm way funnier when i'm drunk. i wish i could've hung out and got sloppy, but oh well.
