last night was the fiery furnaces show at the empty bottle in chicago. it really whupped a zebra's ass with a belt. baby teeth opened up & let's just say i wasn't the only one wearing white pants, if you know what i mean!

jen & i made the trip down in the van bopping to the cure & the police. we ate at a shitty restaraunt and got to the show early. it was fucking amazing. the sound was perfect in that room, and we were standing in the perfect spot to see a show. seriously, we were like 15 ft away from the stage, and above everyone so our view was unobstructed the entire night.

i hoot & holler and i can be quite loud. i think i may have split jen's eardrum. (oops )

so after the show we hit up this ukranian bar on division for a few drinks & then we headed back to milwaukee to go grocery shopping at 3am. then some bloody mary's at jen's till 5am. the cocksucking parking checker gave me a &15 ticket so if you know this chickenshit motherfucker tell him/her to eat my fucking ass for me, will ya?

great night it was. we should've just sprung for the hotel & experienced chicago the right way, but hindsight is 20/20. i forsee many a trip like this in our future.
