so i'm going to minnesota today to help my pal retrieve his broken-down and now recently fixed 1985 VW camper van. i'm trying to hook up with my pal chyna from st. paul and get an excuse to spend a couple days in the twin cities, but gosh i can't remember her phone #. maybe 411? internet yellow pages? yup, you know where i'm going next.

chyna is such a great person. i think if we'd have been living in the same town all those years in the mid to late 90's we would have totally had a great thing going on. not that what we had wasn't great, it was just that we were both in bands, and knew that a full-on relationship was next to impossible. i made so many trips to st. paul in my beat up dodge shadow, and she came down via greyhound every chance she could ( i lived in omaha at the time). we'd hook up each other's bands shows in our towns so we could make out with the opening act on stage. we kept it going for two or three years, and kind of drifted away when her band got huge and mine broke up. she was on smack for awhile, but kicked a year ago, and we've been back in contact. what a rant, but i would love to hang out these next cupple days.

anyhow, that's it. i'm still sad about wesley, but one of these days milwaukee peeps, we are going to have a tribute to wesley at the rock & roll mcdonalds on south 76th street where i will bring my keyboard and do a set of wesley's best tunes.
