very productive weekend. sold the last furry coat i made for my art car fundraiser (yay!) ... got the silver pirate coats that i'm making for a friend done, just waiting for buttons to arrive to finish off the cuffs. i'm very pleased with the way it turned out ... have to take some pics to post.

last night i went over with trilo to start the process of assembling the shade structiure portion of the art car. needed to trim the poles down a bit to get it to fit, but it was nice getting out to work on it finally. trilo's been putting lots of time into pulling it together while i've been inside sewing. i was starting to feel left out of the project. so it was great getting to climb on top of "the ship" and play around with grinders and poles.
