Getting ready for WWDC next week here in San Francisco. Always a good, geeky time. I should probably be tired of everything to do with Apple by now, but somehow I can't quite seem to leave the Cult of Mac, even with Steve Jobs gone. Looking forward to it.

In my favorite Far Side panel, two monkeys are sitting in a tree eating bananas. One has turned to the other and is chattering excitedly, "God I LOVE bananas! I mean, we all do, but with me it's different!"

I find myself feeling that way about SGs whenever I stop by. "God I LOVE these women! I mean, we all do..."

Monday and of course life speeds up to a frenetic pace. SG is unique in that it reminds me very intently and vividly of how many lovely, fascinating people there are in the world and how it is impossible to know even the tiniest fraction of them well.
