"Still he never had a chance. When a man in a suit made of cockroaches meets a man in a suit made of twinkies - well, that's about as easy as subtraction gets." - Jeremy Robert Johnson 'Extinction Journals.'
For some reason I think that is the funniest line ever! hahaha. I'm reading this book at the moment (Extinction Journals) and it is hilarious. I mean I think a lot of things are funny that really shouldn't be funny but this book is awesome. It's set after a nuclear apocalypse, and its main character is a guy who survived by wearing a suit covered in cockroaches. I highly recommend it if you like reading weird shit and found the above quote hysterically funny as I did. haha. Oh New Zealand also gets a mention ("Another blast? A second volley? Who was left to launch this one? Was New Zealand armed? Did the Maoris have missiles, half-etched with tribal paint, striking down on U.S. soil?) which also made me lol haha.
I have been reading and writing a lot lately. I am simultaneously working on two novels, one film script, and fleshing out two ideas - one film, and one a novel. I'm a busy girl haha.
Moved into a new apartment in Hollywood all by myself. I LOVE it so much! You have no idea! I miss my old roomies louella and alice and am thankful for the time i had with them but i think that getting my own place was one of the best things, hands down i've ever done. The creativity just flows here. I'm being more productive than ever in every single way. The words just come. They pour out of me like they come from somewhere else. I;m also doing a lot of interviews with bands etc. There's one for SG waiting in the wings as we speak and I just got back tonight from doing my second video interview for a website called flashrock.com. You can watch my first interview for them with girl-fronted latin goth-metal group Coatl here:
or by visiting this URL if that doesn't work haha.
I've also been doing more photoshoots and things like that lately. Here's a couple from a shoot I did with JC Argetsinger. He has talent.
I also have a million photos from being out and about it Hollywood haha, as well as from visiting Vegas but I think I'll save them for you for next time as I have so many things to do right now haha.
Hope you guys are awesome.
And if you have an opinion on it, please answer my random question of the day:
Q: If you could eliminate any one word from the English language forever, make it so it never existed, what would it be and why?
haha
