Ahh, today was just an amazing day. And more than likely, because last night was an amazing AMAZING night. Nothing better than getting drunk while dressed in a period costume. I could kill someone with that cane of mine. Heh heh.
Yesterday started off on the right foot when I finally fucking got to meet JaiDee at the diner. It was great. Good, good fun. She's a swell lass. Go you, JaiDee, go you.
Anyway, for those of you who pay attention, the Main Event of the evening, the Soiree, was fabulous. There was a slight problem involving Campus Security and underage drinking, but *phhff* to them. Fuck them for trying to spoil our fun and yet thank them for not doing more than confiscating the weak swill alcohol and just telling us to hide the stronger stuff. Obviously, there'd have been blood if they'd tried to take my sake and meade away. I get very protective of those particular spirits.
I have to once again thank my friend Liz for everything she did to make me look so "dapper" and "ravashing" last night (reviews based off of several reliable sources, and by "reliable" I mean "hot girls"). Although I wonder if Liz wasn't expecting to hook up or not. It is something that I will discuss with you, Eric and/or Christine, at a later date (namely whenever we get around to it).
But yes, even before the evening festivities, which included my introduction to two painfully attractive nubile young pieces of jailbait (17 each... so close, yet still illegal enough to make it fun). Rachel and Marie are both cute as hell, not to mention flirty as hell. And beyond that, Rachel sat on my lap for most of the time we were at the diner, but only because I stole her seat. But that was only after Marie stole mine. So fair's fair, right?
But seeing as how I completely digressed, I was going to say that today was just an enjoyable day overall. I don't know what exactly was so special about it, but I was in a fabulous mood all night.
I was, however, humbled severely at one point tonight. While I was at Borders doing a coffee run for myself and Petco managers, I managed to lose the $15 dollars that I had as my change from Wendys. Now this was all the money I had left at this point since it was too late to go to the bank. So I was running around and I asked the lady who had been standing in front of me on line at Borders if she'd seen my drop my money. She said she hadn't and proceeded to help me look for it. When we didn't find it, she gave me twenty dollars of her own money!!!
I told her I couldn't but she insisted, telling me to "think of it as an act of goodwill," and since I really did need the money I relented.
I was and still am in awe of that kind of philanthropy. It's one thing to send money off to a faceless organization that supposedly does this and that for people here and there. I think it's quite another to give it to someone personally. And it wasn't even like I looked destitute or anything, I was actually looking quite well done. It was pure and unfettered charity, which just goes to show that even if I don't neccessarily like Christianity as a whole, it can still produce a good egg here and there, and they just make all the difference in the world when you need them. So hats off to you, anonymous Christian lady, for your money. I don't really care if you only did it because you're trying to score points with your god or not, I appreciate it none-the-less.
Tomorrow/later today should be a much more somber affair as I sojourn southward into Forked River, NJ to pay my respects to chichicat's mother, who sadly passed from this world into a better one a few days ago.
Sorry to have talked your ear off, but I am still on somewhat of a high (no, not THAT kind) from this whole lovely weekend so far and as such, so much more feels noteworthy that I will likely think it to be once I read this again tomororw.
And on that note, I will bid you farewell...
So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen goodbye,
I hate to go and leave this pretty site...
Goodnight...
Goodnight...
Goodnight, SG
Conquered by the Land of the Lotus-Eaters, my bed beckons and I shant return for hours maybe days.
Auf wiedersehen, Super Saiyan,
Rob
FINE MOMENTS AT THE SOIREE:
Slow dancing with Farley and Liz at the same time
Chrissy's delicious Mudslides
A group of people, including myself and Liz, trying to bouce a quarter off of Liz's friend Tara's ass after Liz unwittingly made the comment "Tara, you have such a nice ass. I could bouce a quarter off of it."
Sake and Meade!!!
Two words: Banana Pie
and finally...
Trying to get Ginette to make out with Liz in exchange for me making out with Ginette's boyfriend Alex. (Didn't happen though, Ginette's too overprotective )
WHAT CAN I SAY, I'M A SEXY SEXY BIOTCH IN THE TOP-HAT AND JACKET???
