Talking to Robots.

This is a voice, but it is a synthesis of a voice, not a real one, yet you can hear me, and understand. What then is real? If words spoken by a machine are understood by a biological being, is that not the same as the words spoken by a person? The truth of a thing is lost in the words. Words become symbolic of truth, and truth an unattainable illusion. Life and all the perceptions of it are in a way, a kind of illusion, and also a truth. There is nothing but the illusion, and therefore the veil of reality, is real regardless of whether or not it is there manifest. A thing perceived is a thing, whether it is imagined or not. To paraphrase Hassan-i-Sabbah: "Everything is real, everything is permitted". The lines of reality are only drawn on what is accepted as a common perception. This communal dream is the middle ground of truth. The place where all minds touch and exchange is a common language with which to describe a world in which we all reside. The world, the solar system, the galaxy, the universe, the multi-verse, is a place situated between truth and that which is not. That which is not is then thus a lie, for there is never a way for something, by the virtue of being a thing, not to exist. Again we are lost in the way in which we commonly express a thing with words, and a voice. While i may not be here, may not be real, the something i have said is very much so. And so i leave you with that.
