Went to my sister's, Prime Rib and Rack of Lamb
both were most yummie.
I was Thankful for not haveing to spend most of the Day
tending a fire and spit roasting a bird. Stay under 12lbs
so that it will fit in the Tin Kitchen [ pic in album ]. Strip
the meat from the carcase and start the soup that night
and use less space in the fridge trying to fit in all of the bones.
But will be doing one for X-mas time.

As to Laps, you'll need to build back to what you were doing.
It will come back for you.
Just to give you a happy ending accident:
Last week an 18year old woman was driveing home from class and
a friends house. She text her father that she was leaving for home.
She is very good on the notifying parents of arriving and leaveing where she
says that she is going. But never gets home. For 2 days there is a scearch for her.
Finally a cop notices a small skid mark on the edge of the pavement and sees
a broken off tree. Climbs down into a gully and finds the SUV. The Girl is alive.
She was pinned into the car by the dashboard. Broken thighs, wrist and jaw.
She swerved to avoid a deer in the road.
She couldn't find either of the phones that she had with her. The car went across
the road and off of the other side. Which made finding it that much harder.
Enjoy the Day. Maybe even someone will help with the clean-up.

The bottom line is always what is best for the kids, and it sucks, but you need to issue him an ultimatum.

This is the BEST THING you could do for your kids. Naturally it will be hard for them; however, as someone who had a father who did have a drinking problem, I am thankful to this day for my mom standing up to my dad and giving him ultimatum, and am grateful that my father chose my brother, mother and I over the bottle. It's not easy, but really you are going to be helping your children and you ex by telling him he needs to get his shit together.

1. document all contacts you have with the police and other authorities.

2. as the kids start to get older, have that talk with them about responsibility. what is responsible drinking, stuff like that.

3. he ever is drunk around the children and wants to take them anywhere, call the cops. my dad a few times showed up drunk, my mom refused to let us go see him. he argued at times, she called the police who took him away (due to his drunkedness). and it was documented why he could not see us.

good luck...its a tough situation to be in. talk to Child Protective Services of the state you live in, they might have information. the hotline number should be in the phone book, and they will answer questions for you.

What kind of sorry fucker would endanger his own children like that? That is something I would address to the courts immediately. CPS is woefully ineffective in most instances, but if you file an emergency hearing over the matter, the court can strip him of his parental rights, and the state might bring charges of felony child endangerment or child abuse on top of everything else.

Just look at all of the paper that you can use for your
bloody nose. Should stop the flow fairly well.
