My son has missed 6 days of school. He was puking for 3 the school calander was wrong for one and the other 2 he was depressed and in tears about moving and leaving our old community.
Got a very business like letter from the Vice Principle yesterday. He's a fucking dick head. Nothing in the letter about my child's well being at all. The letter said that they are concerned and he will not pass if he misses 10 days in a trimester. Not We know that You have just relocated and we wanted to know if everything was OK. The letter was cc'd to the police department truancy officer. Really what the fuck is going on here. So I will be calling that asshat today and telling him what I think of his business letter regarding my child. God forbid acting as if you care or anything.
Oh by the way he is one of those kids that does reall really well in school without having to work very hard. He is so smart and nice. Not just saying that because I am a mom. I am saying it because that is what I am constantly told and have been his entire life.
This letter has made me want to move back to my old community where my children are loved by their schools and have history there. Not very realistic though.
On another note I got this great little thing today in my email. Buy locally!!
We are planning to go and visit a farm in the area called URL=http://www.kookoolanfarms.com/]KooKooLan. My son would like to take the cheese making class. He is an interesting child that one.

I buy and eat local, except for out of season fruits. I buy my meats from a real butcher, shop at local farmer's markets, and natural foods stores
