so how is everyone?
I don't have much to talk about.
my son started preschool and the teacher already had a sit down with me.
I felt like l was back in school the teacher called me in and made me sit in this tiny chair.
like 6" off the floor and was looking down at me telling me how my son behaved.
its kinda intimidating. next time I think I'll stand for the lecture..

That is a total power thing right there. By you sitting lower it makes them seem more powerful.

They need to remember that they work for you, not the other way around. Their thing is all about regimentation and making good little slaves out of everyone. Teachers are usually far more concerned with classroom control, paperwork, and meeting the new BS testing requirements than with teaching and individual needs. There is a great educational site that you might find interesting: www.ted.com
