over the past week I've been selling my clothes online to make up for the no-job thing...its working out pretty well. sold over $200 within the past couple days.
Got to meet for coffee with Rosalyn on friday, cool chickie for sure, we'll have to hit up the market some night for a Zaph's night soon! lol.
today I threw another b-day party for my kid with HIS friends from daycare( the last one was all family and granparents and such), only 2 kids showed up and it was pure hell. my son was in temper-tantrum mode the entire time...even attacked one of the parents! screamed at his friends and said he hated them and wouldnt let anyone else hit the piniata I'd slaved on till 4am the night before. And when we tried to coax him to give the other kids a turn he turned on us with the baseball bat....whatever, we let him take his anger out on the thing and thought that would do the trick but the brattyness never ceased, I had to send the guests home early and I just felt like crying after it was all done. I worked SO hard on that party, everything was perfect, bought a $30 cake, loot bags, decorations etc, all to have my son have a really badly timed bad day.....sometimes I wonder why I bother.
I wanted to nap after my son crashed but some people ended up comming over to try on some of the items I had up online for sale so the nap didnt happen. I just sat outside my house sipping the last of my white wine and one out of three emergency smokes I had in the freezer....when those are gone thats IT. I broke down after the job mishap and bought a pack...bad me, BAD!
speaking of jobs. I got an email today saying that the last design job I was waiting to hear back from was handed to someone else. Oh well, suits me right for putting all my eggs in one basket. Back to the (unemployed) drawing board.

I'm about to turn in my resume to a temp agency or something. I need a summer job badly.
Birthday parties can be rough. I never had one for me, for fear no one would show. I can understand why your son was in a bad mood. Although it certainly sounded like it sucked ass for you because you worked so hard to make it a special day. He'll appreciate it all when he looks back, though... Mother's sweetnesses are not easily forgotten.
