Sorry, Sorry. I lapsed last week and there was no Friday blogness.
So the spot on my shoulder was NOT cancer, was benign, a big woo for that. I still have a spot from where he sliced it off. Ow.
Work is still work. It's definitely getting kind of boring now, though.
I had my phone interview with the civilian army logistics program. Was pretty short and routine. Imagine that... military routine? lol Questions like: are you able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance, why are you interested in this job, what do you think you can bring to this job, etc. She also clarified the scary part about doing officer's basic alongside army lieutenants. We wouldn't have to do daily PT but we would have to participate in field exercises like the obstacle course -- which would probably kick my ass but be super fun!! I'm supposed to hear back either today or Monday (she said approx 3 business days) if I'm going to be invited to do an in person interview. So, we'll see.
The state fair of Tex-us opened last weekend I went on Sunday with my favorite newlywed couple after work. All there of us went to OU together and they're both from the Dallas area and came back here after schoolin' too. We had corn dogs a plenty, made fun of all the gloriously white trash folk, and got massive new car envy from going to the car show. I love my car and its only 5 years old but I want a neeeeew one!!! And for those of you who are interested, if you don't wanna pay 10$ for parking, you can get a dart special event ticket for only $5 both ways from the Pearl St. station, just a thought. But if you car pool and cram 5 people in your car $10 is better than $50, so there ya go.
That's really about it. Work, sleep, and read. I read... three books this week. I'm a nerd. And also very bored. So besides reading I've started easing back into playing wow a little bit. I stopped playing after I started my new job because I didn't have a whole lot of time. But I must get to 70! Must play! So I can then get to 80 when freaking WotLK comes out in a month. GAH. There are probably some of you who have nooo idea what I just said, sorry, nerdy wow moment.
