I had a pretty interesting friday. It was pretty fucking cold though. The worst part about New Mexico is the wind in spring. It looks beautiful from a window, but once you're outside, you run for cover. Glad to hear you had a good day, love!

Happy holidays to you - I hope that you get to enjoy them a bit. You social worker-type people are all the same (in a good way ) wanting to save the world - I wish that we could do better, too. I have a few kids in my classroom that won't have such a wonderful Christmas. But then I have one who has learned to manipulate the system so well (they got 3 full thanksgiving dinners this year).

It was better than last year's, although, not as good as the one before.
The most terrible part is that all we seem to do is swap our "war stories."
We work in a shitty business, and have few success stories to tell.

Thank you! Yes, I'm back... courtesy of nycbike who was very kind and sent me a gift membership all out of the blue, after my membership expired.
I'm really busy and going to be out of town for almost three weeks over holidays/January, so I'm probably not going to be all that active on the site at least for a while but I'm glad to be still here too.
