Okay, so I'm here. I wish I had more to say, but the last week has been a bit of a blur- and for more than a few reasons.
Suffice to say, I love the city. I love my tiny apartment, the creaky wooden floors, and the ancient elevator. I love the view of the city from the window over my bed, especially at night; the lights of the city reflect over the river just so against the backdrop of the wooded hills.
But I'm being sappy. Which is why I thought an update would be better suited for another day... but I don't know how long it'll be until I have access to the intraweb again. My giant computer monitor was one of many things sacraficed in the move, so my computer use - for now, anyway - is restricted to the time I have to spend at the downtown Portland library.
Hope everyone is well... I'll catch up with everyone another day. For now, Ikea beckons. ((Coincidentally, my first trip to Seattle!))
