the last few weeks have been insane. had ton's of tests at university and i really shocked myself by doing well (85% average!). It's so weird to do well at things like Physics seeing as i failed that stuff all the way through school!

We also worked on cadavers this week. I thought I would be a little freaked to work on dead bodies but surprisingly it didn't really bother me. They don't look all that human and remind me a lot more of mummified bodies you might see in a museum. It was all heads with one's that were cut in half or with the top layers of skin and muscle removed. there was also a head and shoulders and from the underneath you could see the dude's lungs and osophagus 'n shit. The worst part was that the stuff they use to preserve the bodies really stinks and irritates mucus membranes in your nose and throat - i still have quite a sore throat from it all.

My other great adventure was urine analysis. One of the other students had to provide the sample and we were all expected to pass it around and smell it. That bothered me way more than the cadavers. Anyway, I only have two years of this crap work to put up with and then never again! After that we get into the interesting stuff... like working with the mental people. I'm sure I'll fit right in with them
