Happy Friday! 
Anyone have any plans this weekend? I want to say Happy early Mother's Day to all you lovely ladies out there that are also Mommy's like me! Someone better do something nice for you on Sunday and if they don't let me know and I will see what I can do about it. 
So, I saw the surgeon on Tuesday. He said I could have surgery now if i wanted to but we talked about other options and I would prefer NOT to have someone operate on my back. I have 6 weeks to get better. I am just doing more steroids, pain management, and rest...yes more rest. I am telling you. I am really, REALLY, getting tied of sitting on this couch. It is so hard when it is nice outside. I feel rather depressed about it at times to be honest. I am not a sitter in general. I really don't like it. Okay enough bitching....
A friend of mine came over last night and cried to me for a few hours about a guy she has been dating, well she thought they were dating but I guess he didn't. He was at a bar close to my house with another girl he is dating. Part of it was her not listening and seeing the clues but it mostly is his fault. I told her I wanted to go to the bar but she wouldn't let me.
I listen to her and to other people and I feel SO lucky to have what I do...seriously I really, really, do. I feel for these ladies I have been talking to. I know how they feel. I just wish they could see that they deserve so much more and they really do deserve to be happy. It took me a long time for figure that out and I am glad I did when I did or I might have missed out. We talked about self esteem issues and thing leading us believe we are not good enough and that things that happened in the past must be our fault. It's kinda crazy. I tell her that it is NOT her and it is him but if I were her I would feel the same way. I always figure someone out there is better and would be better. We all need one big therapy session!
Anyway!! I have no plans this weekend sadly. After last weekend with Boogalooshrimp nothing could measure up to it anyway. Tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping...I have NOTHING to eat in this house! Sunday I will have dinner with my Mother and Grandmother. It will be nice. I am not sure if I will be doing anything else...probably more sitting on the couch.
We had some thunder storms here this morning. I LOVE thunder storms SO much!!
I am planning on, as long as all goes well, spending a nice long Memorial Day weekend with Boogalooshrimp. I really can't wait to see him again. I miss him so much it hurts. It really, really, does. I can't wait for the day I don't have to say goodbye anymore.
I love him! He is the best!
