Awesome weekend.
After my last update, I got to do my homework while sipping on a very tasty brew: Harpoon Winter Warmer. It's like alcoholic Christmas. It's got nutmeg and cinnamon and I bet Santa would like it a whole lot better than milk set out next to his cookies. I know I would.
Saturday I hung with my friend who was in visiting from Hamilton, which was a delight. We went to the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival where there were so many free samples that I didn't need lunch. Then I went to volunteer for the Boston Babydolls, a local burlesque troop. I was a stage hand, doing props and grabing clothes off the stage after acts, and I was at the ticket/merch table before the show. (I got asked if I was a Babydoll-in-training once. (I said no.)) On my way home I met a friend walking down the sidewalk in the opposite direction, and we were both like, "hey, what're you doing here?" Turns out, he was going to a friend's birthday party, and he invited me to come with him. So, despite not actually knowing the birthday girl, I did, and it was quite fun. (See EmotiThread on the Silliness Board for one of my drunk actions.)
Today I went to another yoga class, yay, and then at 7:30 I saw the Scissor Sisters! They were fabulous in every sense of the word! Oh man! Jake Shears was wearing these crazy tight sequin pants and jacket (with tails!) and some sort of loose sequined thing I suppose you could call a top, despite not really covering anything, and gold shoes. And Ana Matronic is so freaking gorgeous (and has great breasts). She actually reminded me a tad of Amina in terms of hair and face. She would make such a hot SuicideGirl. And mad props to her for performing in the tall (but fabulous) heels she was wearing. Of course the rest of the band was also fabulous, most notably Del Marquis, who was wearing very tall navy pants with white stripes and suspenders and a yellow shirt. Oh yeah, and their music fucking KICKS ASS. Again, Del Marquis, an amazing guitarist! And Ana Matronic and Jake Shears are just so powerful vocally. It was nuts. I loved it.
The only thing this weekend was missing was me getting some ass and my roommate dying. But everything else was so good I don't even care too much. *sigh* I don't wanna go to school tomorrow......
P.S. I keep feeling like I'm seeing SG people everywhere....how weird would it be to straight-up ask someone?

Gotcha. I was certain most people still recognized death as something that sucked.

Other than your two big exceptions, it sounds like you had a kickass weekend
