So I missed the restorative yoga class I was going to go to today because neither of the record stores I went to had Jos Gonzlez's album (how was I supposed to know they were both second-hand stores? They're the closest ones I know of) and my bike pedal broke (though I was luckily a block away from a Landry's Bicycles, where they fixed it in under 5 minutes and didn't charge me - thanks, Sean Owen, savior of my bike and guy who kind of reminds me of Starsailor's lead singer), so I didn't get back to the house in time to change and make it to the studio.
That was a long sentence. Anyway, tomorrow hopefully I will make it both to yoga class and to the Virgin Megastore (unless anyone has an independent store to recommend close to BU's campus). I'm also really excited about lunch tomorrow, because one of my professors has invited the class to his office for lunch, and he is wholy awesome, and not just because he's British (though that has a lot to do with it, I think). I am also seeing X-Men 3 tomorrow, which would be cooler if it weren't a house event and/or I didn't think my RA is lame and has a large rod up his posterior. Oh well; the nice thing about movies is I don't have to talk to people during them. Man, tomorrow's Friday! I am so observant.
In other news, I've decided to try for a semi-vegetarian diet. I won't go all the way, at least not just yet, because (1) I really love eating dead flesh, (2) staying strictly vegetarian on a college dining plan does not make for a tasty diet, and (3) I don't like most vegetables or malnutrition. However, my environmental science class is making me feel guilty for the size of my ecological footprint, so this is a bit of progress I hope. It also may help with the slow weight gain that's been going on for the past year. I'd really like to be healthier this year than I have been. I probably should've gone swimming after I realized I'd missed that yoga class. Damn, I wish I'd thought of that at the time. Ah, well, I've still got time.
To conclude: I need to find a patron.

I rather enjoy the gothy-gothin'. The Boston goth kids are delightful, but generally not snobby (unlike those in Providence, the uppity bastards). Also, the DJ is awesome; a dude named Chris Ewen. He was in an 80's synthpop band, and when not DJing at Toast, he's a member of the Future Bible Heroes with Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields. He also plays Pet Shop Boys for me, which is awesome
Ooh... yeah, that's gonna be tough. The few people I know with money would probably at least like to come on to you a little bit. But hey, here's hoping!
