Time for the obligatory Emo Blog Session (ugh, I thought I was done with these when I ditched my livejournal account.) I apologize in advance.
I know I've only been back at school for a couple of days, but I'm already disillusioned and depressed, just like last year, and a lot of it has to do with a certain large disappointment in the sex life department. I was working at a summer camp these past few months, and it is very isolated, with a fairly small staff. To make a long story short, I haven't so much as kissed anyone in four months (excluding one tryst that lasted about a minute before I terminated it in favor of bed, and it was lousy so I'm not counting it). Now, at the end of last semester, I had a pretty sweet fuck buddy (very talented guy). I spent this entire summer looking forward to seeing (and doing) him again, but now what has happened? He's gone and gotten a girlfriend. Normally, I wouldn't be too disappointed, but I really don't know if I'm going to be able to replace this one so easily. We had such chemistry, and I was really, really looking forward to our next encounter. In fact, it was pretty much all that kept me going this summer, when all the rest of the staff was hooking up and I was left out in the cold. Thank god for Harold & Maude; I don't know if I'd be functional right now if I didn't have it readily available as a pick-me-up. I just feel like utter crap now. *sigh* And it's going to rain tomorrow, the first day of me riding my bike in the city, which I was nervous about already.
Oh well. I guess I'll go do my last-minute reading for class and moon over Jeff Buckley some more. Maybe it'll be better in the morning.
[EDIT, 1:49 a.m.] And now, just to give myself an extra-good start for tomorrow, I can't get to sleep because I'm so agitated. AWESOME.

Failing that, I tend to transfer that energy to dancing
And hey, at least it didn't end up raining today
And the new place is wicked sweet
Ah, yes, the lock. I still need to get a U-lock; I've been using the little cable lock I had in Amherst still, though my friends say this is a Bad Idea.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the biking, though! The greater Boston area is super fun for biking. Even in downtown, though also terrifying.
My bike's in the shop, getting a tune up and some new parts. I miss it already.
And hey, at least there's some good. Quite a bit of good, even, since sleep did come eventually, and there was lovely biking weather to be had
