That's probably not true sorry to get your hopes up but I find that the explosive hate filled blogs are never as forthcoming as I want them to be but what can I do? If I lose the passion I lose the passion.
I was going to go on about the conundrum of my job, it's alot of drama and it just goes through one big cycle. The stupidest move I ever made was signing up to be a shop steward not only are you thrust in the forefront, but in the same moment you find you have a large target on your back, and one slip and you're dead... Sadly their is nothing simple in the struggle for worker's rights so I've taken more than a few in the back. I'm not bitter, well atleast not as bitter as I was a day ago but you can never really appreciate someone until you've stood in their shoes.
I'm sick of the stupid election. I am not a liberal, it's funny because I am often told that I am a liberal, but I just can't get behind a guy who makes so many wrong moves. Twelve years ago I was a big John McCain fan he said things that made alot of sense and were a little tough to hear. He wasn't "In Bed" with the party, and he really was a war hero, but time went on and things changed. He made his bed and I'm not going to vote for him. For those of you that know I am an active member of the Libertarian Party, I have attended caucuses, given money, spread the word, but in South Jersey their is no active branch of the party so their is no regular meetings, so I found out a little late that my party has nominated Bob Barr as it's presidential candidate. I've never liked this guy. Those of you that remember will know that Barr was one of the lead guys at the Clinton impeachment and when Larry Flynt went head-hunting for Republicans Barr was on the chopping block, pictures circulated and Barr left Congress in disgrace. This is the guy my party wants to put on the top of the heap. Why? I am tired of being third party. I want to change the game so until them I don't think I will be voting in the next Presidential election.
Summer is coming to an end and not a moment to soon. Finally the vacationers and weekend trekkers will go back to Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York or anyone of those other places without a beach. They all come down here and make everyone's life miserable, they don't tip, they jam the roads, they make it impossible to find parking, and they are among some of the ugliest most unkempt people I have ever encountered. I know this is New Jersey and we're use to less, but just because we are not the most glamorous people in the world is not an excuse to let your hygiene and manners go to hell, we already live in the most crowded state in the union so you extra million people out there need to be a little nicer.
People are honestly protesting Hamlet 2!!! Why? I loved this movie. It's critically acclaimed and has won high honors at both Cannes and Sundance, yet the Christian Reich are up in arms over the term "Sexy Jesus"? What the hell guys? It's no different than Jesus Christ Superstar! Then he was a rock star, now he's a sex symbol. That's it! It's not blasphemous! It's not negative in any way, infact the play within the movie has a sincere moral to it. I'm not going to tell you what because I want you to see the damn movie.
I went and saw Nine Inch Nails the other night and despite being kinda back from the stage it was a great show. Trent was in a great mood and actually talked to the crowd. They played for two and a half hours, it was really cool, and the lighting effects were spectacular I can't even begin to describe what I saw.
