So I'm a big whore for Amazon.com. I like the idea of being able to get like 92% of anything I could could possibly want. Before all my recent financial problems I put in my most recent order...
...and today it came
I got three things.
First.
Chris Connelly's new book. It's his whole history in the crazy underground music scene of the eighties. All the wild misadventures with Revolting Cocks, Ministry, Pigface, Damage Manual etc. I've been so psyched to get this since I heard it came out.
Second.
Michale Graves collaboration with Damien Echols. I've heard a few songs from this and I think it's possibly Graves' best work since the Misfits. Plus I'm very involved in the story of the West Memphis Three besides the civil unrest in Burma this is the subject I spend the most time researching. The songs are so haunting.
and lastly.
Yes, yes Zoolander. It is my one great guilty pleasure of the last couple of years. Every time it's on I watch it. I find it hysterical every single time. So, I finally broke down and bought my own copy. It's sad but it's the little things that make it all bearable.
Other than that my ankle has been bothering me. I don't think I'll ever play golf again. Oh well. And I need to find a new dentist my wisdom tooth has got to come out, and I don't like my current dentist... That and I'm afraid of the hygienist, she's a horrible sadist that gets off on making me gag in the chair. One day I will get her back.
