So it's been a long while since my last entry and for a change I have alot to write about so where did we leave off, well I lost my car, the rear axle fell off and there was the usual depression, and financial instability.
So on top of that my baby was coming from New Mexico in less than a month.
So 3 days before she showed up, I got a car. I found a Saturn SC1 in great condition for 800 bucks!!! I was ecstatic to say the least but the best part for me was that this was the first car that had a cd player!!! Yay, I'm sort of modern finally.

So Alex came on a Tuesday and I was so happy to see her. Right away we got down to what was crucially important. We went for sushi at Hikaru!!! Yum Yum! It was just so great having her around. We went to Red Bank and did some Jay and Silent Bob sight seeing, which is always fun. We watched Black Books, and ate some really good food and just had a blast the whole time she was here. We went to the movies, and to an organic restaurant. Sorry no pictures though we were way to busy for that.

During this trip I grabbed a copy of Ministry's "The Last Sucker" which is just an amazing work and the best the band has put out in years. It's good to go out on a high note.
Then Alex went away and I had to start gearing up for the Eccentrik Festival.
In the meantime I finally procured a copy of Bella Morte's "Death Rock EP" courtesy of eBay, it cost me almost 76.00 I'm thinking it might have been cheaper to fund a reissue.
So as the Eccentrik loomed closer I finally thought, "Hey I should sign-up for EZ Pass". Which I did only there was some snaffoo with the money transfer and I wouldn't get the sensor till the day I got back.
But none the less I endured, and then Bob dropped out of going which in the end was a good thing because well there is no way four people can fit in my car. Barely three people could fit in my car.
So Thursday night after work I made the start of a very long trip. Once I finally got to CT it was decided that we should wait till morning before starting out for North Carolina. I'm still in debate as to whether or not we made the right decision, but whatever, we got some steak and eggs and went to bed.
So we got up sort of early. And got on the road. and then stopped for two hours... This was a trend that would repeat periodically the whole trip down. Plus we made a lot of stops, this ended up turning a ten hour drive into a thirteen hour drive!!! Yikes! But never the less we endured. Thankfully one of those trips was to Waffle House!!! America's leading server for most everything. I also found that Hardees is the same as Carl's Jr. who knew? So after all was said and done we rolled into the hotel around 9:30 PM. I parked the car while Annabel and Swabby checked in and then immediately ran into Bryan from the Gothsicles. Who needed a ride to the cub. So did we as I had no idea where we were going. So We got into the room, where we would later find out the air was broken and heating up by the hour, but that was later. Right then and there we set a record for how fast three people could get ready! But then we had to wait while, rides got organized. So us, the Gothsicles,DJ Kangal, DJ Spider, and DJ Spider's man whom, I've forgotten his name, sorry dude, all headed to the club. We were only an hour and a half late but fortunately Kangal had the main floor set-up in his trunk so I didn't feel so bad about being late. So we all drank and boogied, and boogied and drank, until the wee hours of the morning. Then of course all I wanted to do was crash, but sadly the Last Dance were hanging out in our room till just daylight. Nice guys and all but damn it I wanted to sleep. So they did, and then I got to sleep. YAY!!!
Next morning, or afternoon as it really was. I was the first one up, and I decided to walk around town. The town sucks, I'm never going back there, their are no amenities anywhere. So sadly after finding this I had to get into my car and go outside of town to find booze and food. We ate at Snoopy's which was awesome, and cheap! Good times.
So before I knew it, it was time to change rooms, man was it hot! Granted I was willing to endure but again I was out voted. So we were late again!!! We hustled to get dressed and down to the club. I got us lost and we ended up like five miles outside of town. We got the right ones and exited the the highway to turn around, only rather than turn onto the off ramp I'm going the wrong way on an ON-ramp, oh my so I just cut across a field to get where we needed to go, it was okay I was responsible, I signaled. So none the less we arrived and Annabel got to play a song of her set. Sorry doll. I got you drunk though didn't I?
Then the bands started playing.
Hellblinki Sextet was really cool, They were one of the bands that I had really come to see, and they didn't disappoint. The only sad part was that they played to a nearly empty room. Still I got both their cds and hopefully I will get a chance to see them again.
Next the Gothsicles were up and they are just magical, they made an empty room full! It was like poof an audience. They rocked and kicked ass all over the place. Plus they did me the honor of including me in the "Goth song" video. Thanks guys!
Then Terrorcouple played... And well they weren't my cup of tea. The crowd seemed to like them so check them out at your convenience.
Plus we got some random shot with the Gothsicles and Jeff of the Last Dance.
Up next was Cylab who were great at first I was a little bored but they ended up winning me over, Plus their singer Severina did some very retro Olivia Newton John moves while onstage ;P
Now the band that won't let me sleep, the Last Dance played, they were easily the second best band of the night, put that in your pipe and smoke it, And they rocked, and made some jabs at Bella Morte which I found is a lead up to an upcoming showdown between the bands, but anyway then a couple got engaged, and then they played an Oingo Boingo song and were out of there, but no seriously they were great.
Plus we got some shots in with Cylab and Meg Lee Chin
Finally Meg Lee Chin played to a near empty room. Which sucked but she was really awesome to watch. She was joined by Seibold and Michelle Walters all three are Pigface survivors. And they rocked and Meg was really funny. But with like ten people watching it just didn't have the energy it deserved.
Then Annabel got to spin the last set, and packed the floor once again, where did all those people come from?
Then there was a brief spin to an after party and then off to bed for me.
The next morning we went to the Eccentrik Brunch which was good, and plentiful, we all stuffed ourselves, and then drove home, this time we were on schedule.
Tonight D&D
Did you not take pictures of Jay and Silent Bob movie time funness because someone was... how to say... getting lucky? Bwahahahaha
