So I just accidentally erased my blog, but it's okay I remember where it all went. So lastnight my honey and I had a fight. In the process she sort of stomped all over one of my childhood dreams and it went kinda like this.
Me: This is so cool I want to be a Legionaire!
Alex: Honey this is just like everything else you ever had an infatuation with one day you're all gung-ho and the next day you'll be like Legionaire what? No I want to keep bees!!!
Me: That's not true I've always had an interest in the French Foreign Legion, It's been so romanticized over the years, not to mention all the Porky Pig & Daffy Duck classics where they were in the Legion!
Alex: So does this mean if we ever break up you're going to France?
Me: How do they get around the language barrier? The enlisted come from 136 countries?
Alex: They use horse-speak.
Me: What's that?
Alex: I dunno I made it up.
Me: I think I should start learning French, and if I'm injured in battle I become a citizen automatically! Under a provision called "Franais par le sang vers" French by spilled blood!
Alex: Honey No!
Me: What about the kids can we have the kids join?
Alex: Honey No! You're not joining the kids aren't joining, you've just got a wild hare up your ass!
Me: A wild hare?
Alex: A bunny stuffed up your ass!!!
All: Laughter
Me: But what about Heath? It could be a good move for him.
Alex: He'd become allergic to sand!
And I forget where it goes from there. But if any of you would like to consider a career with Honor and Fidelity then you might be interested in joining the Foreign Legion!

Legionnaires get a good pay, cool uniform, and get to enlist under an assumed alias and country of origin! And after three years of service you may apply for French citizenship under either your real name or your assumed name.
Oh yeah and I'm going to see VNV Nation and And One!
