Audioslave was never supposed to work
I never realloy liked Audioslave, because for the most part there was no passion in there music. It's hard to pick up the pieces after a major band breaks up, let alone from two. Rage Against the Machine, let's face it, I hated them, the sound left alot to be desired. I never liked Zack's vocal stylings, and they had this bouncing sound that annoyed me, but unfortunately for me they were huge!!! Fuck it I'm not god, so I had to deal with it. And they ricked on for a while. Then Zack being the pompous ass that he is, decides he's going to explore his religion and other projects. He's a Krishna, and far and away, he's the only person of fame who ever joined up with them. Not important, what is important is that Rage was done. Now the otherside of the coin is Soundgarden, one of my favorite bands, and possibly the greatest of all the Seattle bunch. Soundgarden was my band of choice. I hated Nirvana, and Pearl Jam after the first record have just sunk to a level of mediocrity that they will never recover. So soundgarden. They were around longer then all there buddies, so I knew who they were before Seattle exploded. I had "Ultra Mega Ok" for christ sakes. So they were my choice and when Superunknown came out, I was validated in my thinking. That record blew away all the other assholes. But they had been together since '84 and in 97 it was all over. It hurt cause I never got to see the band. So anyway on to Audioslave, the band that shouldn't, there's a problem. Zack was the face and voice of Rage, no one cares about the other guys!!! Yeah yeah whatever about the guitarist, no one cares trust me. So You have this band fronted by Chris Cornell, the Soundgarden guy, the singer is who you identify with, so you see Chris Cornell therefore you want to hear the tunes you love. You want to hear Blackhole Sun, not some Audioslave crap. The same thing happened when I went to see Joe Strummer in '99 he is the Clash, fortunately he knew this, and did an hour of Clash tunes, so thus Cornell had to do mini Soundgarden sets everytime Audioslave played. It had to be frustrating for the other guys, cause no matter what you're seen as Chris Cornell's band. So they broke up and I ranted about why they never should have been.
In other news, I'm still going to Detroit. And they have this place called Coney Island hotdogs, apparently it's popular cause, there's hundreds of locations in Detroit. I hope it's good.![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
I hate fake people, I'm not perfect, but I try to lay it all out there up front. I hate feeling used.
I think I want to watch Tromeo and Juliet, I need to see something random, and brilliant. Maybe Punk Rock Holocaust, i WISH THE NEW ONE WOULD COME OUT ALREADY!!!
