So some of you may be wondering where the fuck have I been!
Or possibly not but still I feel the need to share so here's what's what! Well lately I've gotten into more intellectual pursuits I find myself falling into the company of the these great minds and I'm devouring all they've written. So let me tell you. Last week I was coming home from work and I flip radio stations until I find something I like. I here White Zombie, and I decide to stick to this station. So after a couple of minutes the Dj comes on and says this is the end of his show, bummer, and turns it over to so and so with his quality programming. He begins reading Zarathoustra by Nietzsche, now mind you I'm familiar with Nietzsche, who he was his philosphys and political agenda but as for his works I will have to admit other than Beyond Good and Evil, I'm not very well read of him. So I listened for almost an hour, twenty minutes in the car and another 40 at home I was just blown away. Which shouldn't surprise me, but still my next course of action was to procure the book, so needless to say it's on the way. Then today, I know I jump around alot, I was reading up on Boyd Rice's website and fllowing various links to buy swag, cause the only thing cooler than swag is swag that you can be protested for possessing, so I looked and delved and I came across the word Abraxas, curious I continued onward, cause that's like what I do, if you ever want research done I'm your guy! So Abraxas is this multi-cultural-theological-phenomenon! Which is great cause I love religious stuff, because there's always such compelling arguements, but anyway, so Abraxas is basicly the "Over God" You know how we all. well not us but other god believing fearing people out there, you know how they believe that there's one god, and that he rules all? Well this Abraxas he's there boss. The belief and forgive me for not going big hear but I want to get this all out before my ADD makes me watch tv. So Abraxas he's incharge, there's 365 gods under him, they all have there own heaven, and he has his nice little over heaven that he lives in above them. He appears in pretty much everyones religious scripture, some as a god, some as a spirit, some as a demon, and some as the duel nature between the devil/lucifer. So again. I bought another book, oh shit and who loves Abraxas, and writes the book that I buys? Carl Jung, yes that Carl Jung, man I love this shit. So then there was this other thing Genesis P. Orridge and his Psychic Tv gang came to town, well not my town but close, and no one wanted to go with me. It was kind of upsetting and all that, because I know he can't live forever and performing has always been well a little bit guerrilla, so I've really been going into my industrial roots, TG, CC, PTV, Coil, Foetus, CV, Clock DVA, and I've just been all about weird shit, and cool shit. And going to New Mexico to see my beautiful Alex. And I went down to Baltimore with Sage to go See Godhead and the Dreaming, there were other bands but that's not important, the point was Godhead and the Dreaming. Godhead I love em, ever since I saw them with Manson, I've loved them. And the Dreaming well this is Chris Hall and Johnny Haro's new band since the break-up of Stabbing Westward. It was a good show and I enjoyed myself just a bit, plus I had some really good, and really inexpensive sushi! Sushi rocks! The Razed in Black is gearing up for touring in November so I've been bugging tham threatening and telling them how drunk I'm going to make them. Plus I'm getting positive reassurance that the gig in Boston is on so not too much longer and I will be moving away =( and yet =) all good! Plus I've been listening to the Toadies, oh and I need someone to go see Hank III and Assjack with me? Okay that's all for now. Comment. Love me. Friend me on myspace!
