There has been so much going on in my life these days I have been naughty and kept putting off my update. Forgive me my friends!
As some of you may know last month my grandfather was diagnosed with stomach cancer. I have spent the last week fighting my family to stop being lazy and get off their asses and help. He is supposed to go in for surgery in October and needs to strengthen his heart so that he may survive. Today I was triumphant and FINALLY had some help picking up a stationary bike. That's his father's day present. I feel that if I can help him live a little bit longer through this effort...it can take away some of the sadness of the situation. My Grandfather is nearing 90 and I know that when he goes under for his operation he may not come back....Sad times folks! I had to stop myself from crying so I could reasonably discuss my demands with my family many times. For those who know me you know I hate to cry.
In other news....in my efforts to set up my art room...I have learned that my computer can support none of the graphics programs or hardware that I need so I now must build a new computer. My hope is that my bestest friend Mr. O shall assist me with creating my glowing green monster of doom! Oh and it will glow green! It is some what frusterating when your hands are tied and you really were looking forward to getting stuff done. Especially now at long last I figured out the exact image I want for my back piece. This has been something that has been plagueing me for months now. Hopefully when I get my next piece in July I can start work on my back....wish me luck kiddies!
So what did you all get your dadums for Father's Day?!?!
