This weekend was actually eventfull!!!! This is a nice change from my usual chillin at home waiting for friends to come over and entertain me. I think I should like to make a habbit once more to do fun stuff during the weekends. So here's how it went...Friday I went out to a couple of bike shops to see what sort of parts and bikes they have available on island, then we grabbed some korean bbq (mmmmm my favorite), and then we went to a comic book shop across the street from the record store I used to work at and I got the two final figures I needed to complete my faces of madness set ( I love my toys). Then the husband was a punk and left to go play D&D with some of the duders from his boat. Now aside from the fact that I thought it was lame to ditch me on friday night I decided to say F it and went out to my friends place. There's nothing like getting rip roaring drunk with one of your buddies and just bull shitting the night away.
Amazingly enough the next high point was yesterday. We went out and played pool after I gave my hair a fresh coat of green then took my friend to his birthday dinner. Japanese buffets are the poop! We left there so full I felt like a tick ready to pop. Cool thing is I got to talk to my best friends girl about getting in on the little business we are starting up soon. Atleast then there can be two people with an artistic eye working all this stuff out.
Now here we are on monday...not too much going on save for the fact that me and the hoopsband are gonna go out and celebrate our year anniversary a day early because the cock mongers on his boat won't let him have tomorrow off. I have no notion as to what we are going to do. I'm the kind of gal that didn't really date and I'm used to being the one that does all the cute romantic stuff...so we shall see what he conjures up and just how cool it is. Just between me and you folks I hope he figures out that I'd really want the book on how to draw comic book figures. I've always wanted to draw comic book style girls that look similar to what coop has put out there....sadly I haven't found the hang of it just yet.
Oh well, if I don't manage to get that atleast I got a book on custom painting anything...I really wanted to get some tips on pin striping. That junk is just too cool to look at! Either way I hope you cool cats and kittens had an awesome weekend!
