I'm noticing how many of my local friends were routing for John McCain. Now like Barack Obama said McCain is a great man, he was for a very long time a very good Senator, sans the voting against the Martin Luther King Jr holiday for Arizona.

I was looking at the two camps/parties and saw all of Chicago seemingly gathering in Grant Park & a select invite only party gathering in the Biltmore Center in Phoenix. Even more the McCain camp was having live music play by country music artist. I thought just another example of how I can't relate to this party haha.

Ok so bottom line like everyone of my SG friends seems to already be saying. Last night was great but we need to be as active as we have been for the last 2 years. This party seems like the party that's gonna represent us. So we'll see...

In the group that I hang out with, I'm the loud mean little drunk girl, and people tend to think I'm always like that. But I get pretty shy when I'm not drunk, and I tend to just shrink into a corner and not talk. My preferred method of communication with someone sitting right next to me is to text them so I don't have to speak.

He's beginning to enjoy the random presents a little more. Like, while he's at work, I'll leave books and whiskey upstairs for him, so that when he comes home he just has presents waiting for him. Nobody's ever done that for him before, so he didn't really know what to think at first, but he's been sending me messages in the middle of the night telling me I'm sweet.
