I've been feeling a little out-of-step lately. The weather is cheering up lately (how wonderfully British of me to mention the weather. *rolls eyes at self*). The sun has come out, reminding me of lush summer afternoons, and this does give me optimism. I'm just being a baby, I think. It's a lonely sort of time of year. Essays, exams, etc. are killing my social life.


It my have something to do with my impending doom/tragic drama exam. I'm getting two questions, on Hamlet, Ghosts (Ibsen) and Oedipus Rex. Luckily, I'm familiar with the texts, but my brain goes mushy in exams, and I waffle incessantly. Dagnabbit.

But, many good things are happening, as well. A set I suggested for 'Classic set of the day' has been chosen. I'm very much looking forward to seeing it up, and I hope the lovely lady who's set it is will enjoy it too.

I got my grant through, and purchased a few extremely snazzy items, one being a speedlite 430 ex II for my camera. I haven't had much practice with it yet, but I took a couple of pictures of my cat Wednesday just now. I vill improve. I'm waiting for a mini soft-box so it doesn't look so harsh.




I took a couple of pics with this adorable little hat I had for Christmas from my aunt, too. These were pre-flash, so they are regretably grainy.








Next time I shall show you my hideously magenta hair, and tell you all about how much chocolate I've eaten, and the creepy dreams I've been having.
